The Canadian Grand Prix was one for the books, marked by torrential rain and an unprecedented number of DNFs that left many teams low on points. The race was a challenge, and it showed in the results.
“Let’s go motor racing” (Michael) kept the top spot in the standings, and “Little old lady from…” (Ray Deen) picked a great week to play her No Negative chip as points were hard to come by, especially if you had anything red (or Williams-colored) on your team.
“PolelessCrew” (Christina) and “Lil Smeardy” (Lucie) took advantage of their opponents’ misfortune and both notched Ws. While “Got in there.” (Joe) barely won the battle of lousy rosters.
“Heff Fwuan” (Mark) used his biggest weakness from Monaco as his biggest strength this weekEND as Haas’ early wet tire strategy allowed them to score a ton of points with all of the on-track passes they made early. He knocked off a good team in “Don’t Push My Jensen” (Kellee) for the win.
I think this was a week that most of us wanted to forget, even though it was a very entertaining race to watch!
